Terms of Service

The rules for using Samling. In short: we help you discover boutiques, purchases happen on their sites, and we ask you to use the Service fairly.

1. About these terms

These terms are a contract between you and Samling(“we”, “us”). They govern your use of the Samling website and mobile app (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What Samling is

Samling gathers pieces from independent boutiques into a single feed so you can find, save and follow what you love. We are a discovery service. We do not sell the products shown.

When you choose to buy, you leave the Service and complete the purchase on the boutique’s own website. Any contract of sale, and any question about price, availability, delivery, returns or refunds, is between you and that boutique and is governed by their terms.

We work hard to keep listings accurate, but prices and stock change quickly. The boutique’s website is always the authoritative source.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us at support@samling.ai straight away if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

You may delete your account at any time from the settings screen in the app.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for anything unlawful or to harm others;
  • scrape, crawl or bulk-download content from the Service, or use it to build a competing product or dataset, without our written permission;
  • interfere with the Service, bypass its security, or access it by any means other than the app and website we provide;
  • impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your connection with a boutique or with Samling;
  • reverse engineer the app except where the law allows it.

5. Content and intellectual property

Product names, images and descriptions belong to the boutiques and brands that supply them. They are shown on the Service to help you discover their products and link you to their stores. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, email support@samling.ai with details and we will look into it promptly.

The Samling name, logo, app and website design, and the way we organise and present listings are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app and website for your own non-commercial use. We keep all other rights.

6. Boutiques and third-party links

The Service links to websites we do not own or control. We are not responsible for their content, their terms, their privacy practices or anything you buy from them. A boutique appearing on Samling means we chose to feature them; it is not a guarantee of their products or service.

7. Availability and changes to the Service

We may add, change or remove features, boutiques or listings at any time, and we may suspend the Service for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. We will try to give notice of significant changes. Where a change materially reduces what the Service does, you may stop using it and delete your account.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is”. Listings are curated by people and updated regularly, but we do not promise that they are complete, accurate or current, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss that was not foreseeable when you started using the Service, for any loss caused by a boutique or other third party, or for any business loss. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to £100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is greater.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, if the law requires it, or if we withdraw the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as intellectual property and limitation of liability, continue to apply after your account is closed.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. For material changes we will give you at least 14 days’ notice through the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after the change takes effect means you accept the new terms.
